Made with healthy wholemeal flour and aromatic cardamom those cookies are so yummy you can't stop yourself from reaching for another one..
Ingredients:
- 125g soft, unsalted butter
- 100g soft dark brown sugar
- 250g plain wholemeal flour
- 1 egg
- 1,5 tsp ground cardamom
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp milk
Beat the butter with sugar until smooth and fluffy, then add an egg and mix until combined.
Add the flour, milk, cardamom, cinnamon and salt and mix until just combined.
Wrap the dough in foil and leave in the fridge for about 30 minutes to chill.
Divide the dough into small balls (30g each) and place on a lined baking sheet. Press each ball with a cookie stamp, remember to flour the stamp before pressing each cookie.
Bake in a pre-heated oven at 200C for about 15 minutes.
Leave the cookies to cool.
